Here is what I got in my April box! Let me give you a quick run down on the products and my thoughts on them! I am a huge fan of Shea Moisture so I am so excited that there is a sample in this box! I have a lot of hair so single foil packets on their own are usually not enough for my long, thick super kinky hair so I combine different hair foil packets to make a custom deep conditioner. Click here to see how I do that! I blogged about it! The Harvey Prince perfume smells amazing! Love it! Cocotique has sent us the Nude deep conditioner before and I love this stuff. I use it on my leave out as a deep conditioner since it is so moisturizing and my leave out tends to get very very dry. I passed along the Dermae samples to a friend just because my skincare draw is overflowing with skincare foil samples, ( I have a problem haha). I am excited to try the Trinity Butta and the Acai Brazillan Dry Oil! I’ve never heard of a dry oil before it sounds cool. I believe Cocotique sent us a Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara in a previous box but I am not totally sure. Again my mascara draw is overflowing so I passed this along to a friend. I am totally that friend that likes to pass along certain items from my beauty boxes. I’m like, “Hey! My Cocotique box came. I love their boxes so much! I have too many mascaras want this one they sent this month!?” My friends are lucky to have me!

This is what I got in my Cocotique March Beauty Box! As you probably guessed I loved this month’s box! I always love Cocotique boxes! So far I have tried the Milani blush and I really like it. It gives me a natural glow from within look. I have also used the Deity America Deep Conditioner and the Naturalicious Clay Treatment on my kinky straight hair extensions and they left them moisturized and smooth. I tried the Kushema Silky Hair Moisturizer on my leave out and it smells amazing and moisturizes very well.Since I do where extensions I am so excited to try the Girl Hair Under Hair Care Protective Restoring Balm. I am also excited to try the Paula’s Choice Skin Perfecting Exfoliate because I love trying exfoliating products (they work so well for my skin!) I do get gel nail manicures and pedicures biweekly so I rarely paint my nail with tradtional nail polish but I’ll be sure to try the Bodyography Nail Lacquer (Milan) and Bodyography Nail File when I do not have gels on! Oh yah I forgot to mention that this box came with a 1 year subscription to Hype Hair Magazine!

So this is what I got in my Cocotique February 2015 box! I’m excited to try all of the products! I have already tried the Karen’s Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave-In Conditioner deluxe sample and my hair loved it! I have also added some of the ProRituals Hair and Scalp Therapy into my DIY braid/twist spray and it was amazing! I can’t wait to dig into the other products! There was a nice variety this month from hair to skin to makeup to fashion which is great because there is pretty much something for everyone. And how cool does ModaBox sound? I’ll answer that, so cool! It’s safe to say that Cocotique put together a good box this month!

Of course Cocotique hit it out of the ball park again this month! The packaging as usual is luxurious and sophisticated. The box included some brand names that I am familar with like Nubian Heritage and Nicka K but it also included products that I haven’t heard of like Naked Bar, Acure and Harvey Prince. So, it is nice to see familiar names but it’s fantastic to discover new brands! There is a nice variety in this box since there is makeup, skincare, hair and fragrance. I’m most excited to try the Nicka K eyeshadow quad ( I see you Nicka K revamping your brand, I like it!) and I am also excited about the Foaming Sugar Scrub. I have already tried the Nubian Heritage hand cream and it has been saving my ~~mega~~–~~ashy~~ dry winter hands! Cocotique I only have one question, is your company supernatural? Because all your boxes are pure beauty packed magic! Well done Cocotique! I give the Cocotique Janauary 2015 Box an A.

Cocotique Beauty Box (Limited Edition Box)

Cocotique is a $20 monthly beauty box subscription that includes 5-8 beauty deluxe samples/products. I subscribed to Cocotique in September and I am one happy girl! A few weeks ago Cocotique was having a sale on past boxes (I think it was 20% off). So I jumped at a chance to buy a box. I chose the April 2014 Box because it was a Limited Edition box and there were Su-Kari and Shea Moisture products in it so I was SOLD!

Let me just say that Cocotique is my favorite beauty subscription of all time! Their brand is sophisticated from their packaging to their products. I love that their products are brown-girl friendly and are deluxe samples/full size products. I have discovered many new products from Cocotique and I am just thrilled with this box in partcular and with Cocotique! I plan on using all the products in this box and I am most excited about the Nubian Notions hand cream and the Su-Kari body butter. I discovered the Shea Moisture Tahitian Noni & Moni Smooth & Repair Hair & Scalp Weekly Therapy in a past Cocotique box and it is now my holy grail pre-poo product. The total value of this box is well over $20. Cocotique box values generally range from $50- $85. I give the Cocotique April 2014 Limited Edition Box an A+.
