How I use the cleanser:
I only use this cleanser at night because it has gylcolic acid in it which is sensitive to sunlight. At night I remove my makeup with a makeup wipe and Vaseline. Then I use a Biore cleanser with my Olay facial brushe to remove any remaining makeup. After that I apply the Peter Thomas Roth Glycolic Acid 3% Facial Wash to wet skin and I massage it in. I personally leave the cleanser on my skin for 3-5 minutes so the glycolic acid can really get into my skin. I then take my Olay Facial Brush and work up a lather on my face. Then I will rinse off my face with lukewarm water.
My thoughts:
I love this cleanser. It leaves my skin feeling clean and it is a great exfoliator. I have very textured skin and this is the only product that helps minimize my texture. Normally I would have to go get a facial to get rid of bumps on my face but this product helps minimize bumps. It has helped to even my skin tone and lighten dark spots. I swear (even though I’m only in my twenties) my skin looks more young and fresh! I feel like my skin looks healthier! This product is $38 it is a little pricey but it’s 8.5 fl oz so you get a decent amount of product and a little goes a long way. The packaging is so sleek and modern. I also really like the cap because you can squeeze out the amount of product you want so you won’t waste any product! The cleanser is for all skin types and it worked really well with my oily skin. It’s a gel consistency but foams when water is added to it. The cleanser creates a great lather when used with water and a facial brush. I have to say I truly love this cleanser. At night I use this cleanser and I follow up with Peter Thomas Roth serums and moisturizers and I wake up to bright smoother skin. Just remember to use a sunscreen when you are in the sun when using this product! All in all I love this cleanser and I highly recommend it! Buy it on Amazon!
